TACKLING THE PROBLEM HEAD ON

The construction industry of Alicante Province has decided to confront thecdurrent slump in the sector, the only way it knows how - by building more homes. A statement revealed that the builders' association of the province intends to build 40,000 new homes in the Province this year - the same figure as that of last year. The statement added that the members felt sure that in 2011 a new boom year would begin.
(( So what happens in the intervening four years? That would mean 160,000 more units just in Alicante province if this building were to continue-on top of the now 600,000 either unsold or unused in the larger Valencia region! Clever planning. CVS))
