PROJECTS GOING AHEAD
It has been revealed that the Conselleria for the Territory has given the green light to a multitude of projects for Castellon Province, which includes the construction of golf courses. The new ruling states that these courses may be built in land declared buildable, and equally, the promoters do not have to seek special permission from the water companies before starting their projects. The Conselleria this year in expected to approvethe construction of one golf course in Benicassim, one in Burriana, one inTorreblanca, three in Peñiscola, two in Xilxes, one each in Almenara andXert, and three for the area around the World of Illusion Theme Park. The department run by Rafael Blasco has already approved the plans for Benicassim, Torreblanca and Burriana, and it seems likely that the Xilxes project which envisages a golf course close to the sea, to be approved soon.
