COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTS STEPS IN

Mr. Llisteri added: "These plans could have inevitable consequences on the basic services to which the entire populace has a legal right, and equally the effects of these new urbanizing projects on the current infrastructure has not been considered. The Town Halls involved are: Orihuela, El Campello, Sax,Villena, Benidorm, Dolores, Albatera, Polop, Xixona, Finestrat, Pinoso, Denia, Pego, Parcent, Sanet I Negrals, Alfas del Pi and Granja de Rocamora, as well as the Rabasa project for Alicante City.

IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED .
After what is generally seen as a failed promotion in Benichembla that raised not a few hackles, it would seem that singer Julio Iglesias and the Ballester Construction Group are now attempting another urbanization project on land in a town that is adjacent to Benichembla: Parcent.
A new company -Terres de l'Horta is now proposing to build over two thousand homes on 400,000 square metres in the El Barranquet area of the municipality. In exchange, the company is said to be offering Parcent Town Hall some 651,000 square metres of land that the group acquired from a group of German businessmen who in turn acquired it from the descendants of the Count of Parcent.
